Chrysler Kills Diesel Engine Plans for Ram

With Chrysler killing it?s diesel engine plans for the Dodge Ram 1500, can we now start to expect smaller, cheaper Dodge Pick up trucks? The diesel engine was actually a ?coming soon? feature, but had been highly anticipated, and may have help Chrysler take a larger bite out of the truck market, as gas prices are starting to creep back up again. Sources say that the motion was uncovered with the Bankruptcy hearings, and that the contract to build the engines, with Cummins, has been voided. At least temporarily.
